Storm Update

Did you get the storm on 6/24/10? We sure did. I was watching the sky and saw a bolt of lightning! After that it really started getting windy. I showed Lilah the outside, and we ran to mom. And right after we got to mom, a big branch fell off the tree! There’s some good fire wood! We almost had to go in the basement! We were so scared. I was shaking and my heart was pumping. And the piano tuner was here! Me and him were predicting the storm would be here by 2:20, and it was!

The storm was gone pretty quick, with a lot of rain, wind and thunder!

  5. We went on a walk after the storm, and on one street 4 big branches were along the side of the road and part of a fence was broken.

  6. We only got some rumbly thunder and a bit of rain. I hear Bridgeport, had a possible tornado!

  7. William kept talking all day about how close he was when that branch fell. I think it really spooked him.

You were in my thoughts and prayers during the storm period. I wanted to call but was afraid that it might be dangerous IF you were getting a bad storm -- and you obviously were!!

  13. We didn't have any storm that time of day or that day.
When I was seven I was just falling asleep when my dogs started barking and it felt like the next day because the lighting was so close. Then my dad had to go outside so me my sister and my dramatic mom had to keep calm while my ddad got the dogs inside the house. but when my dad was done getting the dogs in my sister and I got in my parents bed with them and went fast asleep.
